LIVING ARRANGEMENT?
Daddy and I live here with Mystery, Jabber and Daisy. We have a doggy "The Boy" and our calico Kitty, and giving away some fish as soon I freecycle them to make room for a big girl bed. Charming moved out right after he graduated HS (and in with XI until this past year) and Glory moved at the end of summer after HS graduation across the country from me with GloryBe. Ok, maybe only 2/3's across but far eh-frickin-nuff!
WHAT BOOK ARE YOU READING NOW?
Waiting for "The Sweet Potato Queens' book of love" by Jill Conner Browne to come in at the library. It's not new, but I'm just hearing about it! The last one I read was "Who's Afraid of a Large Black Man" by Charles Barkley.
WHAT IS ON YOUR MOUSEPAD?
It's black with faded fingernail polish that indicates arrows from the center of each side. I used this one back when I taught preschool so that I could tell the children to "go to the top arrow".
FAVORITE BOARDGAME?
Trivial Pursuit. Not that I win or anything but it can be fun and funny to hear some of the answers! My all time favorite doesn't need a board and we used to play it back when I was in the military. Ever heard of "Fuzzy Duck"?
FAVORITE MAGAZINE?
People - if I'm going to buy one that goes on the back of the throne then it might as well be a fun one. Yes, I do the crosswords. Eventually.
FAVORITE SMELL?
Lily of the Valley flowers, ever since I was a little kid. The season for them is too short!
LEAST FAVORITE SMELL?
Vomit. Who likes that one?
FAVORITE SOUND?
Baby burbling. The stuff before they know what they're saying. Or maybe they do know?
WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU THINK OF WHEN YOU WAKE UP IN THE MORNING?
What day is today? (And do I have to be awake yet?)
FAVORITE COLOR?
Coral. It's nice and warm.
FAVORITE FRUIT?
Apples fresh from the orchard in the fall.
HOW MANY RINGS TO ANSWER THE TELEPHONE?
Maybe 3? If the kids are home and it gets to three then I know it's not for them. Most of the time I'm doing something and one is not possible.
WHAT IS MOST IMPORTANT IN LIFE?
Family and health.
FAVORITE FOOD?
Chicken and shrimp jambalaya. For snacks it's salty instead of sweet for me.
CHOCOLATE OR VANILLA?
Vanilla, preferably french vanilla ice cream please.
DO YOU DRIVE FAST?
A couple mph over the limit is probably being honest here.
DO YOU SLEEP WITH A STUFFED ANIMAL?
No, there's not enough room even if I wanted to.
STORMS: COOL OR SCARY?
Cool. Even more fun when it's light and warm enough to go outside and dance in the rain.
WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST CAR?
Mine was a Birth Control Mobile. 1967 Ford Galazy Custom 500, white with eggshell blue interior and 3 speed on the column. My father picked it out for me.
DO YOU EAT THE STEMS OF BROCCOLI?
Sure do!
WHAT WOULD BE YOUR FAVORITE JOB IN THE WORLD?
Mom and one day Gigi (Grandma). For income something with putting photos, video and/or audio) into video format to save family memories or to use in teaching young kids.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE HAIR COLOR?
A nice dark brown with a hint of purplish when the light hits it just right.
HAVE YOU EVER BEEN IN LOVE?
Yes, I sure have and am right now!
IS YOUR GLASS HALF FULL OR HALF EMPTY?
Half full.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE MOVIES?
Pretty Woman, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, and anything with Denzel.
DO YOU USE THE RIGHT KEYS WHEN WORKING ON A KEYBOARD?
Most of the time. Yes, I look even though a lot of the keys have the letters worn out so I don't think I really look. I just watch my fingers?
WHAT IS UNDER YOUR BED?
Shoes and some out of season clothes in a small flat box.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE NUMBER?
Not sure that I have one but maybe 12.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SPORT TO WATCH?
On tv I don't have any. Seriously, I can sit and look at the screen but I see fonts and graphics shadows instead of the sport on the screen. Drives Daddy nuts! (He would interject "Go Steelers!" here) IRL though any sports that my kids are in.
WHO IS YOUR CURRENT FAVORITE BAND OR RECORDING ARTIST?
Stevie Wonder. The man is awesome, and not just his music.

White russians. Goes down nice and smooth!
